Daiwa Emeraldas Dart

DAIWA’s EMERALDAS DART LC is an egi designed to transmit the force applied through rod manipulation to the egi, allowing it to dart freely in the intended direction. Its slim, well-balanced body shape is designed to provide easy control of the darting action while also catering to approaches for wary squid. Equipped with a magnetic weight-transfer system, it shifts the center of gravity during the cast to establish a stable flight posture, improving casting distance and casting feel. The weight-transfer mechanism is also designed to contribute to stable action during darting.

The hook features Japan-made Super Sharp stepped jig hooks that combine strength with excellent penetration, while the hook connection area has a glow finish. The basic technique is to apply rod action after casting to make the egi dart from side to side, incorporating pauses for it to fall between actions to entice squid. Sizes such as the EMERALDAS DART LC 2.5 and 3.0 are available, allowing anglers to choose according to conditions such as shallow water, current speed, and wind strength based on differences in weight and fall speed.
