SMITH’s STYLER is a minnow designed for light plugging in rugged environments such as rocky shores, cobble beaches, and surf zones. It brings the concept of a heavy-duty lipless minnow down to a light saltwater size, with development focused on achieving a bite-inducing action that flies well with a stable flight posture, firmly grips the water without diving too deep, and avoids excessive movement.

The body features a bullet-shaped design and tungsten weight-transfer system for a stable flight posture. Its distinctive two-stage lip consists of a lower shovel-shaped lip that provides water grip and gets the action started, and an upper wide lip that adjusts the action and running depth. Combining the two lips produces a restrained action and a range that does not dive too deep. It is designed for easy casting to targeted areas, even in situations such as night games when it is difficult to see the lure land. It comes standard with slightly oversized #12 hooks, configured with the possibility of hooking larger mebaru, sea bass, black sea bream, and other fish in mind. The STYLER 51F is a 51 mm, 3.4 g floating model, while the STYLER 51S is a 51 mm, 3.6 g sinking model, allowing them to be selected according to their different buoyancy settings.
