Smith Masamune Assist Hook

SMITH’s MASAMUNE ASSIST HOOK is designed to preserve the original action of the MASAMUNE metal jig. In the single-hook configuration, the hook and connection point are joined by PE assist line with an ester core. The line length is 2.5 cm, with a braided-line strength of 120 lb. An approximately 150 lb.-rated press ring is used at the base. The short assist-line configuration is designed to minimize interference with the jig’s action and is intended for use with the MASAMUNE. Available sizes include Single #2/0 and #3/0, allowing you to choose according to the size of the jig and the desired hook size.
