Jackson’s Prowler is a floating pencil bait designed with an emphasis on quick response and ease of use. Its slim body is fitted with relatively heavy weights to stabilize its flight posture during casting, making it well suited to everything from pinpoint casts to feeding fish in a bait boil to searching broad areas with attractor-style retrieves. The body has a slightly tall cross-section, helping provide the buoyancy that can be lacking in slim-bodied lures.

Its action prioritizes quick startup and rapid resurfacing. It also accommodates continued input at a short pitch, making it easy to create consecutive dives. The design helps minimize operating errors, making this model easy to handle even for anglers who are not accustomed to working pencil baits. The lineup includes 160 mm/45 g and 190 mm/74 g models, both with floating specifications. Hooks are not included; the lures come with rings only, with #2/0 hooks recommended for the 160 mm model and #3/0 hooks for the 190 mm model.
