Jackson Offshore Tribe

Jackson’s Offshore Tribe is a line of casting rods developed around the concept of “enjoying offshore casting more than anyone else.” They are designed to handle the powerful runs of pelagic species and the intense fights of tuna and other members of the tuna family. Every model features an original Jackson blank developed entirely in-house, combined with an original guide setting that varies in configuration according to its intended application and an original grip that provides a secure hold during the fight. The blanks consist of 98% carbon and 2% fiberglass, with each model assigned specific power, lure-weight, line-rating, and maximum-drag specifications.

The OTLS-73ML is an ML-class model designed for PE #1–#3 and lures weighing 20–60 g. It uses the recovery power of its thick-walled blank to support fights with pelagic fish in the 10 kg class. The OTHS-78M is an M-class model rated for PE #3–#5 and lures weighing 50–100 g. Its 7 ft 8 in length provides casting versatility and excellent lure control, making it an all-rounder designed for inshore pelagic fish, large dolphinfish, and large Spanish mackerel. The OTHS-80MH is rated for PE #4–#6 and lures weighing 60–120 g, combining the controllability and casting distance of medium- to large-sized plugs with an 8 ft length. The OTHS-83H is an H-class model rated for PE #5–#8 and lures weighing 80–160 g. Its 8 ft 3 in length is designed to maximize casting distance, while its torque and lifting power are built to handle the powerful dives of tuna and other members of the tuna family.
