Jackson Jester

Jackson’s Jester is a rod series supervised by Captain Hiaki Ikegami of Unlimited, a Tokyo Bay boat sea bass guide service, and developed to deliver the performance needed for the ever-changing demands of boat sea bass fishing. Within the series, the JSC-62IIIXH is designed as a big-bait model, with the aim of continuously producing the distinctive action of big pencil lures. Rather than simply being short and stiff, its torque-rich blank provides stability when working lures. It also features a carbon fat grip to reduce friction between the grip and clothing, helping minimize the strain that can build up during extended lure operation.

The blank uses Jackson’s original material, combining power with a resilient feel, while the guides feature stainless steel frames with SIC-S rings for enhanced strength. It measures 188 cm (6 ft 2 in) in length, with a III Extra Heavy power, Fast action, a maximum lure weight of 180 g, and a maximum line rating of PE #6. This model is suited to boat sea bass fishing with big baits when you want to take advantage of its short length to work the lure while continuously creating the action of a big pencil lure.
