Jackson Teppan Blade

Jackson’s Teppan Blade is a metal vibration lure developed from the concept behind the Teppan Vib, with the aim of making a spin-tail jig easier to use around cover. Rather than using the stainless-steel wire line and hook eyes commonly found on spin-tail jigs, its body is designed to be covered entirely by a metal plate, helping reduce problems such as bent eyes caused by miscasts. It also features the bottom bumper inherited from the Teppan Vib, making it suitable for working the bottom, areas alongside bridge supports, and cover-rich zones.

The blade section uses a simple mechanism designed with the tendency for seawater to remain in the area—and for hooks to require replacement due to rust—in mind. The blade can be removed and attached by taking off the hook, allowing for easy replacement. The lineup includes 49 mm/15 g, 56 mm/20 g, and 56 mm/28 g models, fitted with size #14, #12, and #12 hooks, respectively. Designed for saltwater lure fishing targeting sea bass, pelagic fish, rockfish, mahi-mahi, and other species, this spin-tail lure is primarily used with a retrieve, taking advantage of the blade’s rotation and the strong presence of its metal body.
