Sunline Saltimate Full Contact X8

SUNLINE Saltimate FULL CONTACT ×8 is an 8-strand PE line designed for casting, developed for battles with large fish. It pursues high linear strength, durability, and ease of handling during repeated casting. Based on the strength needed for confidently fighting fish in offshore lure games, it was developed through repeated prototyping and refinement starting in 2021.

High-grade PE is used as the base material, with a special coating that promotes smooth line release. It helps maintain consistent casting distance even after repeated casts, while its moderate stiffness helps reduce problems such as guide tangles and air knots, which can easily occur when casting into headwinds or crosswinds or when the line cannot maintain an ideal posture. The Sakura Pink color is easy to see in low-light conditions and helps anglers keep track of intersecting lines. Available in sizes 4–12, it comes in 300 m spools, with 400 m spools also available in sizes 8–10.
