SUNLINE’s Saltimate Egi Leader FC is a fluorocarbon leader for eging, designed to combine precise egi control with durability against abrasion from structure. Its low-stretch design helps transmit a wide range of rod actions accurately to the egi, maintaining a direct feel during jerking and sinking. It also offers the abrasion resistance essential for eging, where frequent contact with rocks, seaweed, and other underwater structure can place external stress on the line.

With a specific gravity of 1.78, it is designed to minimize interference with the egi’s descent. Made from fluorocarbon line and treated with SUNLINE’s original TRP processing, it is engineered to enhance knot strength and reliability. TRP is a technology that combines a three-layer coating, developed from single-layer coating, with resin heat treatment between the molecules to provide water resistance, smoothness, and abrasion resistance. It is suitable for connecting an egi to the end of a PE line and detecting bites while working the egi with rod movements. Available in sizes from 1.5 to 3, it comes as a 30 m spool in a natural clear color.
