Sunline Saltimate PE EGI STA 8-Braid

Sunline’s SALTIMATE PE EGI STA 8 is an 8-strand PE line designed with long-distance casting in eging in mind, while reducing friction as it passes through the guides. It uses “HQ-PE,” formulated with a moderate degree of stiffness and body for ease of handling and line control. Its smooth, nearly perfectly round 8-strand construction is designed to minimize resistance during casting and allow the line to flow smoothly from the spool.

The line features three colors—white, pink, and light green—arranged in 10 m sections, with additional markings every 2.5 m. Using the color changes and markings as references makes it easier to check casting distance, the lure’s position, and the location of hits. It is suited to techniques that emphasize judging distance through color changes and maintaining line visibility, primarily for shore casting, while also being intended for offshore use. Available as a 150 m single spool in sizes 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, and 0.8. As an 8-strand PE line combining roundness, smoothness, and moderate stiffness, it is suitable for setups that prioritize casting performance and distance awareness.
