SASAME HOOKS, LTD.’s SHOUT Cast Spark is an assist hook designed for casting small jigs in shore jigging, combining a Spark Hook with PE lines selected for each size. The Spark Hook is designed to provide reliable penetration, helping bring fish that strike offshore to a solid hookup. Multiple hook sizes are available to target a range of species from shore, including pelagic fish, sea bass, and bottom-dwelling fish.
The setup combines a Spark Hook, PE hook cord, press ring, and split ring, with the PE cord length set for each size to match the small jigs used for casting. The 322CS is available in sizes 2, 1, 1/0, 2/0, and 3/0. Sizes 2 and 1 use 80 lb PE line, while sizes 1/0, 2/0, and 3/0 use 100 lb PE line. As an assist hook attached to the jig’s eye via a split ring, it can be selected after checking the balance between the jig size and hook size.
