SASAME’s SHOUT! Metal Assist is a metal-material assist hook developed for situations where assist hooks made with Kevlar or PE would be cut. Designed to be attached to a jig, it aims to reduce damage to the assist line caused by fish with sharp teeth.
It features a combination of a long-shaft power swivel and a Kudako hook, with a replaceable hook. Even when the assist hook is bitten by a fish, it offers abrasion resistance that differs from conventional designs made solely with Kevlar or PE. When using it, connect it to the assist eye of a metal jig and set it up while checking the jig length and the hook’s position. Since the hook can be replaced, this model can be used by changing the hook section according to its condition after use.
