SASAME’s SHOUT LIGHT GAME ASSIST is an assist hook designed for shore casting games targeting amberjack and other bluefish, horse mackerel, barracuda, Japanese sea bass, Spanish mackerel, and other species. Intended for casting games targeting small pelagic fish, it uses Yaiba hooks and consists of Chinu hooks, short PE line, a press ring, and a split ring.
The short PE specification helps reduce tangling with the jig, while the double-hook design is intended to improve hookup rates and reduce lost fish. It can be attached to the front of a metal jig and is also easy to use when working a jig during shore casting. Available in S, M, L, and LL sizes, the PE line is rated at 100 lb for S and M, and 120 lb for L and LL. Choose the size to match the jig being used and the target species, from light games to shore casting applications requiring somewhat greater strength.
