Cultiva Stinger Triple STX-68

Cultiva’s Stinger Triple Extra (STX-68) is an ultra-high-strength treble hook developed to meet the increased demands placed on hooks by the growing use of PE lines and battles with large fish. Building on the concept of the high-strength class widely used for blackfin seabass and shore-based bluewater fishing, it emphasizes the rugged durability of tough wire. Designed as a replacement hook for large lures, it is available in sizes from 2/0 to 7/0.

The STX-68 retains the same wire diameter and weight as the conventional ST-66, and is designed so that changing from ST to STX does not alter the lure’s action. This allows anglers to prioritize strength while minimizing the impact of a hook change on lure movement. Select the appropriate size according to the lure’s size and buoyancy, the size of the target fish, the line being used, and the drag setting, then replace the existing treble hooks. It is well suited to hook setups for large plugs where strength is the priority and for saltwater lures subjected to heavy loads.
