OWNER JIGGER MEDIUM BLUE CHASER is a single assist hook designed for offshore anglers targeting large fish in coastal waters, with an emphasis on jig control and hooking performance. By reducing unnecessary elements and minimizing hook movement, it is designed to help anglers detect subtle changes in water pressure and fish following the jig while working it.
The hook features the JIGGER MEDIUM Chase-style shape, known for its excellent hooking performance, high strength, and light weight, and uses strong TAFF WIRE. It combines an angular point designed for deep penetration, a micro barb, Zebra-on-Black braided cord selected for abrasion resistance, and a CULTIVA solid ring. While suppressing excessive hook movement, it helps secure a solid hookset when fish follow the jig and bite, while providing the strength needed for a direct battle with large fish after hookup.
Designed for use with constant control of the jig’s movement, it is well suited to techniques such as one-pitch jerking, allowing anglers to work the jig while sensing fish following it and changes in water pressure. Available in sizes 5/0, 6/0, 7/0, 9/0, 11/0, and 13/0, it features different braided-cord strengths and solid-ring sizes, allowing selection according to the jig being used, the size of the target fish, and the tackle.
