C'ultiva’s JIGGER MEDIUM CHASE is a jigging hook designed to let anglers control jigs as intended, withstand powerful runs, and guide hooked fish to the deck. It is built for a balanced combination of strength and flexibility in demanding situations where operation is subject to increased load, such as with low-response tackle, in deep water, or in areas with two-layer currents.
The hook uses TAFF WIRE and combines a “shiwari” hook-point shape with a small barb. It incorporates the angular, deep-penetrating shape developed for the Jigger Light Hold, with an emphasis on secure holding power after hook-up. In addition, its 1:2 weight-balance design helps keep the hook point facing upward, making it easier to catch the corner of the mouth or the upper jaw during a bite. The semi-long shank suppresses unnecessary hook movement, helping prevent errors in the jig’s action while providing better sensitivity to changes in water pressure caused by following fish.
