OWNER’s Blue Plugger is designed as an assist hook for plugs targeting bluefish, with an emphasis on preventing the hook from pulling free during the strike and ensuring reliable hook penetration. It features a wide-angle straight point, while the barb on the standard-size models is kept relatively thin. This shape promotes easy penetration while helping the hook point stay securely set in the fish’s mouth.

The hook shape incorporates a design that controls the fish’s flesh at two corners to reduce wobbling, helping prevent fish loss caused by changes in movement when the fish is brought close to the angler. Made from tough wire, its heavy-gauge construction provides strength and weight, making it well suited for replacing treble hooks. It also features a teardrop-shaped eye that provides a wide hooking gap while maintaining ample movement for the split ring. It can be attached to the front or rear of a plug, and is suitable for situations where converting to single hooks helps reduce water resistance and weight while bringing out improved lure tracking and a sharper action. Available in sizes 5/0 to 13/0.
