Cultiva Drift Axe Tachi-uo SP

C'ultiva’s Drift Ax Taichi Special is a jighead designed for targeting cutlassfish with the wind technique, based on the Drift Ax and tuned specifically for cutlassfish. The shaft, ring, hook, and color have all been revised and optimized for cutlassfish fishing. Unlike the standard model, it features a short-shank design engineered to produce the smooth darting action preferred by cutlassfish during rod-tip jerks.

Based on the Drift Ax’s basic structure—with its blade nose cutting through the water to stabilize direction and its lower-positioned weight mass supporting lateral movement—the Taichi Special has been tuned for cutlassfish-specific action. By adding rod movement with the wind technique, it produces a darting action that darts from side to side. Equipped with hooks and rings tuned for cutlassfish, it is compatible with wind rigs used with soft plastics. This model is suited to situations where a smoother darting action is preferred, and is available in 12 g, 15 g, and 20 g weights.
