C'ultiva’s TFC-4 Wing Trailer is a trailer hook designed to turn subtle bites during winding into solid hooksets while helping reduce the risk of losing hooked fish. Combining the tail-fin shape that inspired its name with two wide-angle, sharp-pointed hooks spread to the left and right, it is designed to capture bites more easily from various directions.
The wire that holds the hooks has a degree of flexibility, helping prevent the hooks from being deflected on the bite while also reducing the risk of losing fish after they are hooked. Another feature is its ability to convert the propulsive force generated during darting and the weight of the jighead into hook-setting power. The low-resistance wing shape also helps minimize interference with the lure’s action. Designed as a trailer hook for winding, it can be used with jigheads and soft baits, and is also compatible with tachiuo tenya rigs. It is available in sizes S and M.
