Cultiva Jigger Light Hayagake

OWNER C'ultiva’s JD-22 Jigger Light Dansa Hayagake is an assist hook with an offset configuration designed to turn bites into solid hookups when adding changes in speed and tempo to jig movements. It uses an ultra-fine-wire hook based on the Jigger Light Hayagake, featuring a straight design with a slightly wide-open hook point and a setup in which the two hooks are positioned at slightly different heights. In addition to a shape that allows the hook points to enter the jig or the fish’s mouth easily, the offset positioning shifts the location of the hook points, combining the penetration power of a single hook with the holding power of a double hook once the fish is hooked.

The assist line features a fluorocarbon core to help reduce tangles. This construction maintains the relative positioning of the hooks while making it easier to take advantage of the offset configuration when rigging the jig. Attach it to either the front or rear assist eye of the jig. It works not only with one-pitch jigs, but also with tricky jigging techniques that incorporate deceleration and acceleration. Available in sizes 1/0 through 5/0, it can be selected to match the jig being used and the size of fish targeted. Whereas the JF-22 Jigger Light Hayagake is designed for rapid penetration with a single hook point, the JD-22 is distinguished by its two-hook arrangement with an offset configuration.
