Gamakatsu Luxxe EG-X Ultimate

Gamakatsu’s LUXXE EG X ULTIMATE is an eging rod developed with an uncompromising focus on weight reduction, resonant sensitivity, and the ability to detect changes in load, allowing anglers to perceive information transmitted from underwater in greater detail. The blank’s primary material is TORAYCA M40X high-modulus material, achieving weight reduction while maintaining strength. An original high-modulus carbon pipe-style reel seat is incorporated with a Rizaound structure, and combined with a hollow Rizaound grip to pursue light, responsive handling and clear resonant sensitivity. The joints feature precision-ground spigot connections, while all models are equipped with titanium-frame guides. LDB guides are used on the tip section and KL-L/H guides on the butt section, helping reduce line trouble during casting and lure actions.

All models feature carbon solid tips. The S78L+-solid is a light-power model that makes small and shallow-type egi easy to handle. The S82ML-solid is a responsive model suited to short jerks and slack jerks. The S86ML-solid accommodates straight retrieves, tension falls, and drifting, thanks to its flexible tip. The S77ML+-solid is easy to use at nearby shallow spots, when covering water on the move, and for night tip-run eging. The S86M-solid handles a wide range of situations, including deep water and strong currents. The S76M+-solid is a power model that makes it easy to impart sharp actions even in situations where the lure is subjected to high water pressure. In addition to the standard technique of jerking and pausing the egi, anglers can approach with delicate control focused on changes in load and line tension, detecting changes underwater as they fish.
