Gamakatsu Assist Hook FR Set

GAMAKATSU’s ASSIST HOOK FR SET is an assist hook set designed to provide both front and rear hooks in one package, selected according to the jig’s weight. Type 1 features an assist hook on the front and a treble hook on the rear, while Type 2 uses an assist hook on the rear, offering a different setup. The assist section features glitter, which provides visual appeal when attached to a jig.

The lineup includes sizes S, M, and L, with recommended jig weights of 30 g, 45 g, and 60 g, respectively. The front assist hook lengths are 10 mm for S, 12 mm for M, and 14 mm for L, and all use PE line rated at No. 15. Type 1 combines one front assist hook with one rear treble hook, supporting a setup with hooks positioned at both the front and rear of the jig. Matching the jig weight with the hook size allows the set to be rigged on jigs used for shore jigging and casting while reducing the need to select and combine hooks individually.
