Gamakatsu Raguse Easy X

Gamakatsu’s LUXXE EG X is an eging rod designed with an emphasis on reduced weight, easy handling, and sensitivity for transmitting the movement of the egi. TORAYCA® T1100G is used as the primary blank material, combined with high-modulus materials to pursue quick handling and castability. The reel seat features the hollow-structure “Resound Grip,” designed to enhance transmitted sensitivity. LDB guides are used from the tip through the midsection, while the butt section is fitted with K-guides featuring Torzite rings, a setup designed to reduce line tangles during casting and egi jerking.

The lineup includes tubular- and solid-tip models, allowing anglers to choose according to their preferred feel and level of egi control. The S72ML-solid is a boat eging model designed for casting while drifting downwind with the boat. Its soft solid tip enables smooth transitions from jerking to the fall. The S86ML is a lightweight tubular model with the responsiveness and power to handle everything from small egis up to size 3.5. The S86ML-solid accommodates tension-based retrieves and reeling-style actions, while the S86M is an all-round model capable of handling a wide range of egis, from small sizes to size 3.5 and deep-type models. The solid-tip models make it easier to detect changes in load and are suited to egi control while maintaining tension, drift presentations, and slack-line-style jerking.
