Gamakatsu Multi Assist

Gamakatsu’s MULTI ASSIST is designed to support hooksets by adding an assist hook to jig heads, soft swimbaits, tenya rigs, and other tackle. It is suitable for jig heads where the weight of the head can cause the hook to come loose, big baits and soft swimbaits that are difficult to hook even when a fish bites, and tenya rigs where bait is easily taken without hooking the fish.

Featuring hooks combined with nylon-coated wire, the MULTI ASSIST is available in Single Supporter and Double Supporter configurations. Hook sizes range from #8 to #2, with wire lengths of 10 mm for the Single Supporter and 15 mm for the Double Supporter. To attach it, pass the loop through the shank or line eye of the hook you want to connect it to, then pull it tight to secure it. The rubber stopper allows the wire length to be adjusted. It can also be set shorter to match the lure size and the condition of the body hole. To remove it, pull the black rubber stopper to release the attachment. This versatile assist hook can be used in a variety of ways, including as an additional hook for jig heads and tenya rigs or for assist-hook setups on soft swimbaits.
