Gamakatsu Rings

Gamakatsu’s ring lineup consists of the Superline Split Ring and Superline Solid Ring, designed to provide the strength required at lure and assist hook connection points while reducing stress on the line. The Superline Split Ring is made of high-strength stainless steel and is available in sizes 1 through 8. The sizes are designed to cover applications ranging from small spinners to large lures, while the rounded edges around the outer circumference help reduce line abrasion even under heavy loads. It can be used for replacing lure eyes or hooks and for combining various connection components.

The Superline Solid Ring is a welded solid ring designed for use with assist hooks. Made of high-strength stainless steel, it features a smooth, rounded shape throughout to help reduce stress caused by contact with the line as it passes through the ring. Available in sizes 4 through 7, it is rated for 200 to 700 lb. Unlike a split ring, which is opened and closed to attach or remove components, it is suited for securely connecting lines, assist hooks, and other components by passing them through the ring. Choose the Split Ring when replaceability is the priority, or the Solid Ring when you want a one-piece structure without an opening and maximum connection strength.
