OWNER’s P-35 Masked Spin is a blade-tuning accessory that attaches a blade to lure hooks such as treble hooks, adding flash and vibration to enhance the lure’s appeal. Designed for use by simply setting it onto the hook, it can be paired with the rear hooks of metal jigs, crankbaits, sinking pencils, poppers, and other lures. It features a highly stretchable silicone body that fits securely around the hook and is available in three sizes: S, M, and L. As a general guide, the S size is compatible with ST-36 #12–4 and ST-46 #10–4; the M size with ST-46 and ST-56 #6–2; and the L size with ST-56 and ST-66 #2–1/0.
The blade lineup includes Willow Leaf and Indiana blades, which rotate during the retrieve to generate flash and vibration. For light shore jigging, a treble hook fitted with the Masked Spin can be attached to the rear eye of a metal jig and used with a combination of fast retrieves, free-fall, and curved falls. Because the blade continues to rotate during a curved fall, it is designed to maintain its appeal while the lure is falling. When repeatedly casting and retrieving, the manufacturer also recommends using the included heat-shrink tubing to increase holding strength. Available colors include Silver, Reflect, and Glow Zebra, with Gold also offered as an additional model. Glow Zebra can be selected for nighttime fishing, deep water, or turbid conditions, while Reflect is suited to areas beneath night lighting or other low-light situations, allowing selection according to light levels and water clarity. Take care not to stretch the silicone section more than necessary or allow it to contact the hook point.
