Owner Tai Rubber Line

OWNER PFP-04 PE Assist Tai Rubber Line is an assist line designed for making your own assist hooks for tai rubber rigs, with attention to synchronization with the skirt and reduced tangling. With conventional braided lines, the hook could swing freely and become tangled with the leader, kabura, or skirt. This product uses the “Ouchiuchi Manufacturing Method,” which incorporates a fluorocarbon core tightly inside the material without gaps. Its moderate stiffness helps prevent the line from losing its shape, allowing it to follow the skirt’s movement while reducing tangles between the hook and line. The fluorocarbon core also helps prevent knots from loosening, making the line easy to handle when tying assist hooks.

The line comes in 5-meter spools and is available in 35 lb, 50 lb, and 75 lb. The fluorocarbon cores are 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 in Japanese sizing, respectively, allowing you to choose according to the hook size and strength required, from small to large hooks. It is intended to be cut to the required length when making single or twin assist hooks for tai rubber rigs, and is also suitable for anglers who want to adjust the assist-line length and hook combinations themselves.
