Owner Shinobi Assist Tachi Shiwari

Owner’s TFS-3 Shinobi Assist Tachi Shiwar i is a completely silent assist hook designed for hairtail jigging in low-activity conditions, minimizing metallic sounds and the presence of the assist line. A sound-dampening tube is used at the snap connection to reduce interference noise from the ring and metal jig while maintaining easy removal. The assist line is made from clear, extra-thick fluorocarbon to minimize its visibility and provide protection against being severed by the fish’s teeth.

The set includes three Tachi Shiwar i hooks, and their articulated design accommodates a variety of bite patterns. A glow-tube bite marker is fitted near the hook eye to help induce bites in combination with the hook’s articulated movement. The Tachi Shiwar i features a sharply curved-in point, designed to convert subtle short bites into solid hookups more easily. It can be used as an assist hook for metal jigs when targeting hairtail with light tackle. Available in sizes 14 to 18.
