EVERGREEN’s Corsair 65 is a sinking pencil bait designed for situations when fish are selectively feeding on ragworms or small baitfish. Its unique body shape is combined with a low-center-of-gravity molded weight to enhance action response and depth control. Measuring 6.5 cm and weighing 7.0 g, its sinking configuration and distinctive fat-tail design contribute to a stable flight attitude.
Compared with the original Corsair 85, it produces a tighter, more rapid serpentine action and is designed to maintain a consistent depth during slow retrieves. As the retrieve speed is gradually increased, it generates an irregular escape action at a steady speed, resembling baitfish fleeing in confusion. Begin by searching with a slow, steady retrieve, then vary the retrieve speed when you want to trigger a reaction. It comes standard with #10 Stinger ST-26 hooks at both the front and rear, and #2 split rings on both the front and rear hook eyes, making it suitable for big fish.
