Evergreen Sea Drive

EVERGREEN’s Seadrive is a lipless sinking minnow that adapts the concept of the proven S-shaped jointed bait for bass fishing to saltwater applications. Combining a double-jointed system with a Live Fish Tail, it produces a natural S-shaped action reminiscent of a weakened baitfish simply by lowering the rod tip and retrieving at a steady speed. Measuring 14.0 cm and weighing 28.0 g, the body is carefully balanced to minimize the tendency of lipless baits to rise, making it easy to control even from slightly elevated fishing spots such as piers and seawalls.

The basic technique is a slow retrieve: at a slow pace, it produces a wide, gentle S-shaped action, while increasing the retrieve speed changes it to a tight, quick S-shaped action. When fish chase the lure without committing to a bite, it also supports a shift-down retrieve, in which slowing the retrieve brings the lure closer to the fish. Adding twitches during a standard retrieve causes the body to lose its balance dramatically, producing flash from its flat sides and irregular darts from side to side. It comes equipped with a size #3 front hook and size #4 rear hook, with a size #3 Egg Snap fitted to the line eye. Because the tail is made of elastomer material, avoid contact with other lures or worm oil, and store it in a straight position. The Seadrive Rattlin’ Bone is a derivative model featuring a rattle sound and increased buoyancy from its bone material, designed to produce a wider, sharper swimming action than the original.
