PALMS’ ZetZ Slow Blatt Cast SLIM is a metal jig designed to apply the principles of slow jigging to a shore-based style. It allows anglers to methodically probe, with incremental pitches, water layers that are easily passed through in a short time with conventional shore jigging. Intended for long-distance casting and steep-drop environments, it features an almost center-biased weight balance that prioritizes responsiveness to rod movements. The body reacts quickly to each input, making it easier to work the intended depth while minimizing tailing.

The slim body is available in 20g, 30g, 40g, and 60g sizes. The SCS-30 weighs 30g and measures 70mm in length, while the SCS-60 weighs 60g and measures 82mm. The basic technique is shore slow jigging, combining lifts with falls. The jig is designed for a retrieve pattern that repeatedly works the depth in stages: several jerks after reaching the bottom, followed by a fall and another descent to the bottom. Because both the retrieve and the fall are treated as opportunities for bites, it is equipped with hooks at the front and tail. Models weighing 30g and more come standard with twin pike hooks at the front and a short pike hook at the rear. The hook thickness can also be changed according to the target species and fishing conditions. Choose the SLIM when casting distance and water depth are priorities, and use it alongside the WIDE model, which is suited to short-range fishing and shallow, gently sloping areas.
