YGK X-BRAID Jigman Ultra X8

YGK Yotsuami’s JIGMAN ULTRA X8 is an eight-strand PE line that has undergone a complete redesign, with a focus on the impact resistance and strength required for jigging. In addition to the latest WX construction, it features advanced GPD processing, giving the polyethylene line specifications designed with high-strength characteristics in mind. The line has a specific gravity of 0.98 and uses a five-color pattern.

The line is available in 100 m connections, including a 100 m × 12-connection configuration, as well as 200 m and 300 m hanger packs. Line sizes vary by specification, with the 300 m spool available from No. 1.5 through No. 6. Each size has a designated MAX LB rating, allowing selection according to the tackle being used and the fishing conditions, from light jigging to strength-focused heavy styles. The five-color pattern is designed to help anglers keep track of line payout and water depth. This PE line is intended for use as a main line for jigging, together with setups such as leaders and assist hooks.
