YGK’s XBRAID FULLDRAG X8 is an 8-strand PE line developed with an emphasis on the strength to withstand powerful runs and easy handling in casting applications. Finished in an Orchid White color with a specific gravity of 0.98, it is available in 300 m spools. In addition to high-load braiding using YGK’s proprietary WX construction method, it features GPD, silicone, and HPB treatments. The line is designed to minimize loosening of the braid pitch while helping address thinning and abrasion caused by prolonged fights.
Designed for casting and jigging targeting large fish, this model is intended for situations that require applying heavy pressure to stop a fish. The lineup is centered on larger line sizes. The 300 m spool is suitable when you want to ensure sufficient line capacity on a casting reel or replace the line in anticipation of wear from use. FULLDRAG X8 has been officially discontinued by the manufacturer, and the successor model, FULLDRAG TSR X8, is now available.
