BlueBlue’s SNECON is a sinking pencil that creates a wide S-shaped swimming action simply by retrieving, thanks to its head ladder structure and unstable center of gravity inside the body. The action becomes more pronounced as changes in water flow increase and as the lure moves farther away from the angler, producing a natural swimming path like a small baitfish crossing the current. Because the internal weight ball is not fixed and moves irregularly, the lure also produces body wobble, rolling, and a rattling sound. The series includes models such as the SNECON 150S and SNECON 50S.
In flowing water, a basic steady retrieve draws out an S-shaped action that responds to the current. In areas without current, the movement can be controlled with a stop-and-go retrieve or changes in retrieve speed, while rod manipulation can produce head-shaking and a Dutch roll from the surface to just below the surface. The SNECON 150S measures 150 mm and weighs 51 g. Its weight-transfer system is designed to provide casting distance, and it runs at a depth of 20 cm. It features a two-hook configuration with a through-wire construction that allows the use of large hooks. The SNECON 50S is a compact 50 mm, 3 g model designed to bring the SNECON’s distinctive wobble and the controllable presentation of letting the lure sit in the current to light-game fishing. Since body size, weight, and hook size vary by model, anglers can choose according to their tackle and target depth.
