Aqua Wave’s Spark HEAD is a jighead designed to be rigged with soft plastics to produce sharp, stable darting action. Its low-center-of-gravity body, designed with a slightly overhanging profile, stabilizes the posture of the jighead during action and creates crisp, responsive darts.
The main wire features a stopper to hold the soft plastic in place, while the addition of an assist wire helps prevent the soft plastic from slipping or spinning, which can occur during repeated action. It is designed for use with the Spark 75 and Spark 85, and is also compatible with the Spark Tail. Rig it with a soft plastic and use rod-controlled winding or darting techniques, or take advantage of the stable action produced by the low-center-of-gravity head for an enticing presentation. The weight is stamped on the side of the body, making it easy to identify in the field when using multiple sizes. Available weights are 1/4 oz, 3/8 oz, 1/2 oz, and 5/8 oz.
