AquaWave’s MetalMagic Slow Edition is a bladed metal jig designed for deliberate presentations at slow to moderate retrieve speeds. The blade has been enlarged to make the lure easier to locate across wide areas, generating strong vibration and flash. Designed specifically for the MetalMagic, the blade is tuned to maximize attraction while reducing retrieve resistance.
The body features a triangular, ultra-low-center-of-gravity design that resists spinning even during fast retrieves, while maintaining a compact silhouette with a reduced overall length. Its front-heavy shape makes it easier to reach the bottom and allows anglers to search the water column from the moment the retrieve begins. The primary technique is a cast-and-retrieve presentation, using slow to moderate retrieve speeds to activate the blade. A heavy-wire single hook is fitted for fighting large fish, while the blade is connected with a thick, flat-sided split ring. The standard blade size is #3 for all models: 60g, 80g, and 100g.
