AquaWave’s MetalMagic Shore is a tail-spin jig designed for probing shallow water from the shore. Made from lead, it rises faster than the tungsten MetalMagic TG and is designed for easy handling during shore-based retrieves. It accommodates a wide range of retrieve speeds, from slow to ultra-fast, and is characterized by its ability to maintain a stable swimming posture even when the speed is changed.
The body features a low-center-of-gravity design with a triangular cross-section, making it resistant to rolling even during ultra-fast retrieves. Its front-heavy shape also makes it easier to reach the bottom. The tail is fitted with a small Colorado blade designed for the MetalMagic, combining light pulling resistance with the blade’s rotating action to create an attractive presentation. The basic technique is to let the lure sink to the desired depth after casting, then retrieve it steadily, adjusting the retrieve speed from slow to fast to search different depths. Featuring a simple body-and-blade hook system, it is available in 20W, 30S, 40gS, and 50gS models. The 20g model features double hooks, while the 30g, 40g, and 50g models feature single hooks, with blade sizes varying according to weight.
