SHOUT!’s Heavy Spark Assist Hard Single is a single assist hook with an ultra-penetrating clear fluorine coating, designed for use on the front of jigs in both high-pitch and slow-pitch jigging. It features a high-strength, heavy-gauge hook and is designed for power fights using heavy main lines and high drag tension.
The assist line is made of hard PE with an ester core, creating a rigid construction. The core helps the assist line retain its shape, and even if it develops a bend, it is designed to return easily to its original shape when pulled straight. The hook is a Heavy Spark Hook with a clear fluorine coating, and its single-hook configuration allows it to be set on the front of a jig. Line lengths vary by model: 346VH is 2 cm, 347VH is 3 cm, and 348VH is 4 cm. Choose according to the jig size and desired action; each model is available with hook sizes from 1/0 to 5/0. The recommended setup shows the hook attached to the front of the jig via a press ring.
