SHOUT’s Hard Twin Spark is an assist hook with a Spark double-hook configuration. It uses a stiff PE line with an ester core added to the original design, making it suitable for slow-pitch jerks and long-fall jerk setups. The 2 cm model is item number 326HT and is available with hook sizes 1, 1/0, 2/0, and 3/0.
The hooks use Spark Hooks and feature a construction that combines PE line with an ester core and press rings. The stiffened line is designed to reduce the hooks tangling with the jig. By attaching the split ring in the preferred position, the hooks can be set either facing inward or outward. Available in lengths of 1, 2, and 3 cm, the basic approach is to choose a length that prevents the front and rear hooks from interfering with each other when mounted at both ends of the jig. If more bites occur during upward jerks, use a longer front assist; in areas where snags are common, use a longer rear assist to suit the conditions.
