SHOUT’s Feather Jaco is an assist hook designed to deliver greater attraction and easier inhalation during bites by combining the Jaco Hook with proven feathers for targeting pelagic fish. Based on the Jaco Hook concept, which has built a strong track record in inshore jigging, it adds the visual presence of feathers.
The hook uses the Light Quick and features a combination of PE line, mackerel skin, white thread, and feathers. It is assembled specifically for the Feather Jaco, with the twist removed to create a shape that allows the hook point to receive force more effectively, aiming for greater penetration. The feathers, mackerel skin, and thread follow the jig’s movement to enhance attraction, while the hook and materials are designed to be easily inhaled into the fish’s mouth during a bite. Available sizes are SS, S, M, and L, with assist-line strengths of 50 lb for SS, 80 lb for S, 100 lb for M, and 120 lb for L. Choose the appropriate size according to the jig size and line system being used.
