SHIMANO’s EXSENCE ARMAJOINT 190S Flash Boost (EXSENCE ARMAJOINT 190S FB) is a sinking big bait designed to deliver smooth action for sea bass while enhancing the casting distance and accuracy of a jointed lure. During the cast, its body folds into a compact, rounded shape to reduce air resistance. The ARMA BOOST system also helps suppress lure rotation for a stable flight posture. After landing, magnets semi-secure the plate at the joint to regulate its range of movement, producing a natural, tight wobbling-and-rolling action. In addition, the Puchi Lock system semi-secures the hook eye to the body, helping reduce line tangles that can occur when the lure is folded.
This sinking model measures 190 mm and weighs 58 g, with a sinking rate of 20 cm per second. It is well suited for targeting midwater zones and deeper areas that are difficult to probe with a floating model, while its design helps maintain stable action even in fast-flowing areas. During a standard retrieve, the magnetic semi-lock supports the swimming action, accommodating anything from fast to slow retrieves. In areas with current or conditions easily affected by wind, its sinking characteristics allow you to work different depths methodically. Inside, FLASH BOOST causes the reflective plate to shimmer even when the lure is stopped. The lure is fitted with a No. 1 front hook and a No. 2 rear hook.
