The SHIMANO COLTSNIPER GABBRO 175F FLASH BOOST is a slim popper with a vertical floating design that makes it easy to maintain a stable popping action even on rough seas. Designed for challenging conditions where pencil baits are difficult to work effectively, it continuously produces sound and bubbles from the surface to just below the surface with nonstop popping jerks, creating the frantic escape action of a fleeing baitfish. Its slim silhouette is well suited to situations where bluefish are feeding on slender baitfish such as barracuda and halfbeaks.
The body features a fixed-weight design, with the weight positioned at the very rear to provide consistent casting distance and support the lure’s floating posture in rough seas. The lure floats in an almost vertical position, making it easy to impart action with rod movements. Designed for use from rocky shores, the cup edge has been given additional volume to enhance durability. It also features the FLASH BOOST mechanism, which suspends a mirror plate inside the body with a spring to produce subtle flashes even when the lure is paused. In addition, Scale Boost uses a composite-pitch hologram that imitates the scales of a baitfish. This floating lure measures 175 mm in length, weighs 57 g, and is equipped with two #2/0 hooks.
