JACKALL’s GEKIDAKI TR SHAFT RB is a basic series designed for the applications demanded by today’s fishing environments, including tip-run fishing from shared charter boats, casting games, and night tip-run fishing. It retains the action of the original GEKIDAKI TR SHAFT, combining crisp jerking performance with responsive handling, while pursuing a design that allows the rod to bend smoothly when an Aori squid is hooked. This helps it follow sudden runs and the rocking of the boat, reducing the risk of hook pull and lost fish.
The GTRB-S511ML/R, GTRB-S65ML/RN, and GTRB-S65M/R feature high-modulus carbon solid tips, balancing tactile sensitivity for manipulating the egi with visual sensitivity for detecting changes at the rod tip. The tips feature orange markings for enhanced visibility, making their movement easier to monitor in low-light conditions or from shaded fishing positions. The S65ML/RN is a night-capable model featuring a flexible tip made from a specialized solid material, making it easier to visually track bites at night and subtle changes from small or inactive squid. The S511ML/R features a short length and supple regular taper, making it easy to keep the egi stationary while absorbing wave action. The S65M/R is the standard model representing M power, accommodating a wide range of egi weights and targeting larger squid, while the S70ML/R is a casting model designed for exploring shallow areas with underhand casts. All models employ a solid joint system, allowing only the solid section to be replaced.
