Its soft body is easy for horse mackerel to inhale, while the silhouette is designed to fit easily into the mouths of fish of all sizes. Ribs on the body create moderate resistance despite its compact profile, making it easy to feel the lure during the retrieve. Measuring approximately 48 mm in length, it is suited to lightweight soft-lure fishing with a jig head.
The distinctive tail shape combines a small constriction at its base with a bulbous tip to produce unique action.
