Megabass’s X-80 MAGNUM builds on the signature features of the classic X-80, while extending the body length to 115 mm. It is designed to deliver the presence required of a minnow over 100 mm long, combined with a natural, baitfish-like action. Featuring Megabass’s distinctive shiner body shape, it is intended for targeting large fish cruising expansive open shallows. Despite its enlarged body, it retains the original X-80 action, producing movement and stimulating vibrations brought as close as possible to those of natural prey. The lip features a new shape designed to provide both crisp action and durability.
Inside, it employs the Tungsten Triple Weight Oscillate System, equipped with three ultra-high-density, small-diameter tungsten balancers. During the cast, the three balancers move in a line, using their density and inertia to help achieve long casts while compensating for the air resistance created by the slim minnow body shape. This is a sinking lure measuring 115 mm in length and weighing 18 g. It is equipped with three #6 hooks and is designed to cover a wide area during the cast, then produce a crisp action from the new lip and the natural movement characteristic of the X-80 series during the retrieve.
