DUO’s TETRA WORKS is a series of compact saltwater lures designed for efficiently covering a wide area in light-game fishing. The sinking pencil YURAMEKI features a high-density body measuring 48 mm in length and weighing 6.3 g, delivering excellent casting performance and making it easy to use in spots that require long casts or under strong winds. Its design helps suppress the body’s tendency to rise, while adjusting the countdown and retrieve speed allows you to cover depths from 0.2 to 0.6 m.
On a slow retrieve, it produces a natural tail-wagging action and is easy to keep at a consistent, relatively shallow depth. Start by adjusting the depth using the countdown after the lure lands, then use a steady retrieve as the basic approach, adjusting the retrieve speed according to the current and the fish’s response. The YURAMEKI comes standard with #12 hooks. Taking advantage of the casting distance and adjustable depth of a sinking pencil, it is suited to presentations targeting small baitfish in harbor areas and locations with current.
