DUO’s REALIS SPIN SW LIMITED is a saltwater tail spinner designed to deliver blade flash and vibration on a slow retrieve to sea bass that are less responsive to fast-moving lures. Its fixed-weight sinking design provides moderate retrieve resistance and linear control, combining the vibration generated by the rotating blade with subtle body roll to attract fish. As the blade rotates while the body makes a fine rolling action, it is suited to a methodical presentation at low speeds.
The lineup includes 5 g, 7 g, 11 g, and 14 g models. For saltwater use, the 11 g model measures 38 mm and the 14 g model measures 40 mm. The 11 g and 14 g models use No. 10 hooks, and both feature a blade mounted to the hook eye with no line eye. The basic technique is a slow retrieve after casting, adjusting the speed based on the range at which the vibration from the rotating blade is transmitted to the rod. In current, it can also be fished by casting down and across, allowing the lure to drift from midwater to near the bottom while maintaining a speed at which the blade continues to rotate. If retrieved too quickly, the body may tip onto its side, so it should primarily be used with the intended slow retrieve.
