DAIWA’s SOKKOU SHOCK LEADER is a snap-equipped leader system designed to connect PE line and shock leader quickly using a loop-to-loop connection. The leader comes pre-rigged with a loop and snap, simplifying leader changes and re-rigging after tackle trouble on the water. Simply connect it to the loop on the main line to use, making leader setup easier in strong winds or low-light conditions.
The EG Snap features a slim-bottom design that helps transmit the action of egi lures, while the green PE loop is designed to minimize resistance when used with interline rods or small-diameter guides. Emeraldas Leader in a weed-green color is used for the leader. The D Snap Light features a wide-bottom design that minimizes interference with the lure’s free movement. The lineup ranges from No. 0.8 to No. 6, with leader lengths set at 1 m for the lighter sizes and 50 cm for No. 4 and heavier. Lures and egi lures can be changed by opening and closing the snap, while the EG Snap and D Snap Light can be selected according to the intended use and lure weight.
