DAIWA’s SILVER WOLF URBAN TWISTER is a hog and craw worm designed to make distant black sea bream (chinu) notice the lure through its strong appeal and entice them to bite. Its water-gripping arm design and fine ribs positioned along the arms aggressively disturb the water, making it effective when murky conditions make it difficult for black sea bream to locate prey visually, or when fish are spread across a wide area and difficult to pinpoint.
The deep constriction located approximately one-third of the way from the rear of the body, a feature common to the SILVER WOLF series, allows the body to fold easily when a fish bites, helping reduce missed hooksets. The rear of the body has a thin, flattened shape to reduce air resistance, while extra material is added around the area where the crank section of an offset hook exits to improve durability. The material is also infused with the amino-acid-based special attractant “Amino X” and shrimp powder. The rear-end design makes the lure easy to cast. Recommended hooks are the SILVER WOLF HOOK SS WOS #2 or SILVER WOLF HOOK SS Screw Keeper #2. This 2.5-inch model is made of PVC and should be rigged to match the hook shape, allowing the arms to create water disturbance while maximizing the body’s movement.
