DAIWA’s SALTIGA LIGHT ASSIST HOOK TWIN SS CHU-SHINKAI SLOW is an assist hook designed for deep-water slow jigging, with use at depths of 200–300 m in mind. It is suited to targeting fish such as rosy seabass, longtooth grouper, bluefish, Japanese bluefish, and ruby snapper, and uses a light green PE line with a fluorocarbon core that blends easily with the color of the water.
The hook is a SASUS仕様 WKY hook featuring a fluorine-based special plating treatment for enhanced penetration. Its outward-facing points are shaped to improve hook-setting performance on short bites, while the deep, wide-gape design helps keep hooked fish securely pinned. The hook is tied with an inside wrap knot through the ring, and the ring section is finished in a small-diameter, flat design using a special knot. Available overall lengths are 50, 52, 70, 72, 90, 92, 110, and 112 mm, with hook sizes 2/0 and 3/0 to suit the jig size and rigging setup.
